I have a Propel 10 and I know I will likely be selling it soon just doing some consolidation.

I am waiting to see what, how, $$$ and when the E-Drive for the Jackson and BSB 360 kayaks will appear on the market. Could be any day now so I'll check back if anyone is still in the market for the 10.

It is a fabulous kayak and I think you guys are on the right track looking for one. I have owned many kayaks and none compare as regards versatility, ease of getting on the water.

Hit me up Brad when you decide to sell 817-504-3479. Year of your native and color?

KingFish, Mine is a 2015 I believe, but I'll check the title.

Updated a year ago to change out the rudder cable system, added a few doohickies here and there over the years, but no drilling. Hidden Oak. It has the Boonedox Landing Gear, too.

My current dilemma is downsizing in the right direction. I am awaiting some eventual finality with Bluesky 360 and its E-Drive. It'll need such a drive to overcome it sluggish speed.

About how much are you thinking about selling the slayer for?

KingFish, I mentioned elsewhere that when I another kayak, I contacted one of the guys, Russ or Adrian, at the big stores in D/FW and they gave me fair price. IF I sell it, I'd likely do the same with the 10, use that as a reference point but I am always flexible.

Mine is in close to mint condition. No drilled holes, never dragged, cleaned in and out after every time out, kept in a garage. The only wear it has is on the right side piece of rubber "traction" where those can wear off from the heel of a shoe I guess. My drive has never had an issue, serviced at Mariner Sails, my seat never collapsed the plastic tray, no issues with rudder cables snapping though I did replace it last year to be proactive.

Hmm? I think a new model would be great. I'd certainly recommend checking with Russ at Anglers and/or Adrian at Mariner Sails as those shops are both Native dealers. The deal is that there are now several competitive short pedalers, one of the most recent being the Old Town Top Water. And, it sells at $1999 I think, looks to be a fine vessel.

This is a long way of saying that if I could get a Propel 10 for $1999, brand new, I'd think that'd be okay but I wouldn't pay much more than that. I think they have already dropped the Propel 10's Suggested Retail Price a couple of hundred dollars just owing to competitive forces at work in kayak pricing.
