Has anyone ever fished this creek? I know people say don't eat the fish from Mountain Creek lake. but that creek looks like it would be a nice producer. Since It flows from JP.

I know a lot of people catch (And keep fish) from the Joe Pool spillway. I would bet the rest of the creek has fish but I definitely wouldn't eat them.

I was looking for a place to fish around there as well .. I have fished Walnut Creek on the west side of 360 and caught some large mouth but nothing special

I used to go to DBU. I caught some good size bass along with white bass and crappie in the canal across from the natl. cemetery. That whole area is shady as heck thoough..

I believe Bill Wilcox from the Honey Hole All outdoors fishing show did an episode out there. You might be able to find it on YouTube
