made a quick C&D today the fried chicken talk on here got me hungry. boiled up thighs and breasts with celery and seasonings, made a white roux and added to chicken broth after skimming the floating fat and dipping out about 1/3 of the liquid. mixed 2 cups flour, 2 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1 tsp salt with 1 1/3 cup milk for the dumplings. dropped the dumplings into the soup one spoon at a time. it ain't too bad. good day for it too.

Would. Pass the black pepper.

Here's mine. Three cups of cooked chicken, can of cream of chicken soup. 1/2 package of frozen mixed vegetables, 1 Tb of Tony C's, pepper to taste, chopped celery. Put all together in pot and add milk to make a good broth and simmer for 45 minutes. Then add three flour tortillas cup in 1" strips and simmer another 15 minutes.

Love chicken and dumplings.

Reminds me of my grannies PRUNE DUMPLINGS.........Well, almost.
