Sometime its fun to go to the same lake but target different species of fish. I personally think if you can know how to bream fish and crappie fish it will help you with catching bigger bass. Bottom line its hard for me to drive by Rayburn to go to any other fishery in the country.

I tend to put in 4-6 consecutive trips to one lake and then move to another. Being in East Texas I am only an hour to an hour and a half from 10+ lakes. Most of my days on the water are all day trips anyways.

Use to focus on only 2 lakes. Now I am down to 1 since #2 became so crowded.

I am a 1 lake person, but with the new boat I plan to change that. My game plan this year is LV, GV, RR, Moss, Fork, Monti, Cypress, Palestine, and maybe LOP. Dreaming big I guess. I Would love to hit Rayburn, Amistad, and Falcon too, but I will have to save something for next year

After fishing for 30+ years it’s tough to find that many new lakes.

To be sure I do fish farm ponds around here and creeks that have almost zero pressure. Dumber fish are more fun for my skill level.
