Seasoned with Cavenders and fried in lard! Fried the eggs as well. I highly recommend this!

Just out of curiosity why leave the head on it? Is there something to eat there? So you don't get lonely eating alone? My wife would make me throw away the pan if she ever let me cook anything with the head on it in the house in the first place. Sure does look good. I bet those fins taste awesome with the lard. Thanks for sharing

Don't forget the eyeballs! People fight over who gets to eat those in some countries.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Go to any restaurant in Colorado and order a trout. 80% of the time, it will have its head still on, when they serve it.

when I went over to asia a few years ago-i saw whole fried fish quite abit. When I was a kid growing up in south Florida,( fishing everyday!), I encountered this same style of cooking down there and in the carribean. To each their own I guess.

As far as favorite ways to eat crappie, I won't take credit for it but it's definitely one of my all time favorite ways to eat crappie. Someone on here posted "crappie rancheros" a few months back -man that stuff is good ! We ate them this way for breakfast at the deer lease all through the season!

He did clean it. It's scaled, gilled, and gutted. That's how the majority of fish are eaten in the world.
