 How many rods are too many?

Trying to get some input on how many crappie rods are too many? I have ordered a few and I don’t want my wife to give me that “how many of those things are you going to get” kind of look. So just need some feedback on this.

How many can you fish with at a time? Good question for the bass guys but us crappie guys can fish with TWO at a time so we need more rods!!

I'll let you know once I hit that threshold but I think I have a ways to go (last count was 18 in the box - [censored], I may be closer than I thought).
