Last time I was at Lake of the Pines I got skunked (water like 6 feet high). Has the bite improved at all? Thinking about hitting it Friday and want to know if others have had recent success? Thanks.

I was out Sunday afternoon fished 15-20 ft brush piles and 30ft creek channel and only caught 1. Don't know where they have gone. But the water is down to about normal.

Is spillway still flowing? They were catching them in good numbers there.

I usually drive over 4 or 5 times a week. Regardless the weather, going to be a hardcore there.

Im a loser. I fished 5 hours and boated one white perch and just one other bite. I will come back fighting another day. I think this is just natures way of protecting the habitat. They won today.

Hey CFM, lighten up. I've saved my share of various fish habitat over the years! But let's hook up soon and see if we can put a dent in them. Allot of folks struggling right now.
