How is this reel any different from the regular Pro Qualifier 2s? Is it just aesthetics or did they skip on some of the components?

Wish I could answer your question; but, the phrase �limited edition� in my mind means aesthetic/cosmetic differences and not improved quality
IMO the original PQ feels better than the PQ2

If you want to step up from the PQ, get a Carbonlite 2.0�good value at $80-90 during the trade in

Same reel as the regular PQ2. Only difference is the color. Limited Edition color run

FYI ,Not sure about the reels but if your going to purchase the rods look at them close. Was at Cabelas last weekend and on 3 pro qualifier rods I picked up , the top 4 eyes were not even close to being lined up with bottom eyes. And not by a little bit. Was shocked that they could actually make them that bad and nobody caught it.
