Newbie here so I apologize for my ignorance. When is the best season for catching crappie around trees especially on Ray Roberts?

Hey Brent, welcome buddy. Timber fishing is best normally from May-October for me!

Welcome to the forum! welcome

Dont forget those core brushpiles, either.

I love fishing trees anytime on any lake...just get to the correct depth, and get down by the base of those trees. Dont forget to look in those limbs, either. Good luck and good fishing.

Ray Roberts, hmmm, 12 lb xtra tough fluorocarbon is the ticket, if my memory serves...I wish I had been using some!
