So I'm trying to find a certain rod I like and everywhere I go all I see is that almost all Falcon Rods are out of stock. Even their own store has limited availability. Whats going on?

They stopped producing them in the USA to cut costs so maybe there was financial trouble?

Agree with this. I found some new model Lowriders in fort Worth but stock was limited. Needing a couple but may look elsewhere at different manufacturer.

The Cara's are still being made in the USA but are very difficult to find a decent selection locally... Because of this I purchased an Expert Rod and so far I'm pleased... A friend needed a replacement on a Cara and they sent him an Expert Rod... So i'm not sure whats the deal only that Cara's are hard to come by right now.

Not wild about the new web site. Getting a listing of rods and prices seems to be something they don't do anymore. I'm not currently in the market, But I looked at the web site and was not impressed. Still think the Cara Amistad might be the best rod ever made.

I just cleaned a bunch out. sorry. I'd say since the JC's are price pointed at $99 that's why they are out a lot of places. The cheaper price point rods like that and the Bucoo sell out pretty fast cause they are affordable. Have you thought about bumping one up and trying the new Lowrider Amistad? It's $129. If your at Fork anytime soon I can let you use one and see what you think.

I had trouble finding Falcon's last summer and fall. Bought a couple used and ordered one from Amazon. Was supposed to be a Cara T7 head turner and ended up being a Cara ST finesse jig rod. In the past two weeks I have ordered a discontinued lowrider 20 directly from Falcon and ordered a Cara T7 from Tackle warehouse, it arrives tomorrow

Unfortunately, Falcon Rods is not the company that they used to be. I sent a sticker request email to them back on Jan 19th. I never heard a word from them until I emailed them back on Feb 20th. It took them until Feb 22nd to finally respond. I wouldn't have to worry about having any customers if I responded to mine in a similar timeline like that. Something is going on, for sure. All I hope for is to still be able to buy from Southwest parts when I'm needing a new Cara.....
