Great news! Really nice day, too! Made it to Murphy yesterday; trout were biting!

Bite was on at Towne Lake in McKinney, too. Still editing the video but did get a picture of Charlie checking out his first Rainbow Trout! Charlie's First Rainbow Trout. Thanks FishHarder for the report!

Video of yesterday's action at Towne Lake, and then added a snippet at the end... able to side trip on the way home and fish Murphy's City Complex Pond! Fun times!
Towne Lake and City Complex Pond...

the last stocking for Mary Jo Peckham was this past Friday, so I went out one final time this morning. nothing. i'm officially done with rainbow trout fishing. been out there about a dozen times this season couldn't even catch one rainbow.

i had several lines out with different flavor/color powerball and powerbait dough. i was also throwing a rooster tail. that rod started getting ice on the guides as the drops of water started freezing.
