Got my new G2 Solix SI unit installed with the Megas transducer. Great image as expected but of course this transducer does not keep bottom depth at speed. So, I installed the new XP 14 20HW transducer as it is listed to be the one to use for high speed bottom depth (shoot thru hull). I also purchased the Humminbird 720103-1 14 M SIDB Y 14-Pin SOLIX/Onix MEGA and Non-MEGA SI Sonar Splitter "Y" Cable to run the 2D Sonar for sonar and Mega for down and side. When I select the source for 2D sonar I�m only seeing the mega si/si as an option. Shouldn't I be seeing 2 options for transducers when I select my transducer source? Anybody have some input or info? I�d really appreciate it.

Try restoring defaults
Then try on the home page hit the tools icon on the bottom of the page. This should give you a setup menu icon. Open that up. It will give you a manual setup menu select it. Hit the right arrow one time. The sonar setup page should appear. Turn off auto config and select your settings

Do you Guys show two options when picking your source? The 2D and your mega?

When on sonar source screen you should have sonar, side imaging,down imaging. You will only have 1 sonar source. With the y cable the unit will read both transducers as 1. The y cable disables the 2d element in the si so the unit will only read the xp 14 HW transducer as the only 2d source.

Awesome, this is what info I was looking for. When I select source for the down and side it shows mega but when I select it for the sonar it shows 2d sonar only. I haven't had it back on the water yet, it just wasn't what I expected it to read. Thanks 44 Diesel
