Which rod do you prefer?
20# fluoro and 1/4 oz weight.
Thanks.....

Dobyns Champiom Extreme HP 744 split grip. I have it paired with a Lews Team ProTi 7:5:1 but I throw 14lb FC Sniper.

Or a Power Tackle 104 jig rod ( if your throw anything over 1/2 oz.) The parabolic action on this rod is amazing.

Dobyns 754 or Loomis 843. Either one works great.

This^^^. Have a few Dobyns rods and they are nice but the Champion 734 is the most comfortable “worm rod” I’ve ever used. For everything except really big/heavy plastics, jigs...the 734 is great. On a tighter budget? The Dobyns Fury 734 is great.

I like a 6’9” rod in a Medium/Heavy. Quicker on the hookset than a 7’0”. 7’0” is stronger for muscle and moving fish.

If prefer 7’ here is the model for it.
Kistler Helium 3 7’1”

The KLX models are great too.

Power Tackle PG 144. 7ft rod, or the Power Tackle Football special (7ft 3in )is another good one. I like the Power Tackle PG 104 (7ft 6in ) rod for medium sized swim baits.
