2 months ago I would have bet any amount of money that this would not be a problem. People were complaining about them putting in a high water ramp at Katie's Woods instead of extending the other ramps. At least it will have plenty of water through the summer.

send some our way!

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

I was out there yesterday, the whole lake looks like a big mud puddle, lots of debris and trash, only saw a couple of floaters that would hurt a boat but you dont always see the ones that knock a lower unit off,it is nice to see the levels up but it will be awhile before it clears up enough for good fishing,Denton creek is still rolling so the lake is not done rising yet,I think the corps are limited on how much they can realese due to flooding down stream, now we know why the corps were letting all that water out last month,it is a flood control lake after all.

I did not know that they were ever off,but they were on yesterday, made one cast with the small net and had about 40 shad about the size of a 1oz slab, there were a few sandys in the area but the bite was slow.

The bubbles were on as of last Tuesday. Lots of little shad. Not much for sandies though.
