Ethan and I made a marathon day trip to South Texas. We left around 1:30 am Saturday and returned around 3:00 am Sunday morning. We spent 10-11 hours on the kayak and wading and he did great! Ethan also saw about 10 stingrays swim by while he was wading, and some were only a foot or two away. We both learned a lot on this trip and we can't wait to do it again. Some really big trout were caught wading and being able to share that experience with my son was indescribable. We caught all of our fish on white/limetrues Controlled Descent Paddle Shad, and the big trout were loving them. All fish were caught in knee to thigh deep crystal clear water over grass. Thanks for sharing! I would recommend investing in a floating net, makes wade fishing a whole lot easier!
