Hey yall, so I've been getting into tying recently and I really enjoy it. I have been thinking about getting into pouring but don't really know where to begin. Where can you get materials like hot pot, molds, and such, and where is a good place to go or item to read to learn more about it? Thanks for the help

![[Linked Image]](http://myfolderz.com/Pics/pouring.jpg) Then I put my lead in a cast iron skillet and dip with a big spoon ..... but I am poor because I spend all my money on Jim Beam Black. You can buy a nice pot, but not really necessary depending on how much you plan to pour. Do a search for molds until you find what you want .... usually ebay has them cheaper, but if you get used make sure it is all there.

Where can you get materials like hot pot, molds, and such, and where is a good place to go or item to read to learn more about it? Thanks for the help I would buy a lee melting pot either the 10 lb or 20 lb pot. Lead you can buy off ebay. As far as molds go look on https://www.zeiners.com/doit/jigmolds.htmlhttp://rockislandsportsgov.com/Jim is the one to talk to at zeiners and Mr Bill is the one at rock island. Tell them both Shane sent you. Hooks go here https://www.captainhookswarehouse.com/index.cfm?page=products&catid=5&view=1Then that is about all you need to pour. Any questions just pm me Very nice of you Abbott! Skip

I don't pour jigs anyhow, way, way too much trouble when you can buy them ready to go for only a little more. Mix a Jim Beam Black with a little splash of coke and wait for the postman. I just pour big no roll sinkers and hard to find stuff.
