 Motorguide Xi5, Xi3 difference

Was needing information on choice of the xi5 or the xi3 is. Is one better i read about them but they both seem alike in ways, Does anyone have experince with using either. I fish everyday and was needing to get one that will be durable for fishing alot.

I think thrust ratings and voltage supply are the only differences. What kind of boat will it be going on?

I think the xi3 is 12 volt and the xi5 24 volt.

The Xi3 is 12 or 24 volt, thrust 45-70 Xi5 is 12-24 or 36 volt, thrust from 55-105 They both are the same except those features. see: www.motorguidestore.comI have had an xi5 for over 3 years. great motor, best motor if you have Lowrance units.
