It's got a heavier colored cover. The inside pictures are black and white, but the book is decent quality. I guess they have a deal with this company to print them as they are ordered. I've actually ordered 2 of them from here as I loaned my copy out to a buddy and he lost it. I haven't had any issues with getting my books.

Here are some books. I'm not sure I can recommend any of them right now, it's been to long since I read them, but if you're interested in Bass reading material, here are a few.

Thanks, I went ahead and placed an order. They also had John Lee Smith's book "Journey of an Old Fisherman" which I've read about a few times on TFF so grabbed it as well.

In terms of pure bass biology, "Knowing Bass" is by far the best book out there. When I wrote my books, I choose to go a little light on the biology portion simply because "Knowing Bass" covered the topic so well. Of course that was before the book became astronomically expensive. I have tried to track down Dr. Jones to see what the story is on his book. He's either ignored me or hasn't gotten my messages. If anyone knows of a direct way to contact him, send me a PM.

Here's my best guess as to what happened. Dr. Jones worked for Berkley Fishing. His book was based off his research he conducted while working for them. Jarden crop. bought Berkley back in 2005 I think. No problem there, the book remained in print. Newell Brands came along and acquired Jaren in 2015. It's around that time that Dr. Jones and "Knowing Bass" vanished from the marketplace. I'm assuming Newell laid the law down on Dr. Jones for profiting off what they probably considered their Intellectual property. Anyway, just a theory. I also think the company has changed hands 1-2 more times in the past couple years. So who knows what the current owners are thinking.
