Fishing the boat houses has always been productive. The fishing may be a challenge due to the cold water temperatures. Also Quitman normally has stained water, but due the rain and runoff it can get muddy at times.GOOD LUCK Sir!

I would be pitching a jig in the brush around the island. This is where the big girls put there make up on and hang out.

Across from the ramp, there is a dock that has good brush, as well as a roadbed and ditch beside it. I have done good in the past cranking a DD22 there, and pitching a jig in the brush. Just up a little ways to the right from that dock, there is point that has a real hard spot on top of it, also a good place to catch them. Haven't been there in a long time, but you might give those spots a try.

to the left of the island is a good spawning flat..if the water is warm enough I'd check it out for pre-spawners.

Look for brushpiles about 15-20 yards off the end of docks.... tons of em all over the lake.

A lot of timber under the water up the creek all the way to the bridge.... black/blue senko, chatter bait, and jig. Big mammas spawn from the island all the way to the bridge
