Fished there many times years ago. Had great luck catching LMB with plastic worms of all types, catfish with hotdogs and sunfish with worms. Hope this helps.

This is really helpful. Thanks for making this possible. Just one comment: There is a spot marked in Lake Texoma between the islands. Granted that may be a good bank fishing location, but you would need a boat to get there. Again, thanks, this is a valuable resource.

Unfortunately, at this time you can't. I used to have the map setup so anyone could add a spot. But thanks to one smartazz member here on TFF who thought it would be funny to move spots around, I had to take away that privilege which ruins it for everyone.
For a long time now I've had members send me the coordinates and description of a spot which I then added.
Due to health issues, right now I can't do that so the map is frozen as is for the time being or until I can make time to show a co-admin the ropes.

Good catch JB. Thanks for letting me know. This appears to be a leftover from the damage done by the TFF member I mentioned in the last post. Thought I'd found most of the moved spots.
I'll take a look and see if I can figure out where it belongs.

If you get to where you can add some spots...I can send you some on the Nolan and Paluxy rivers around Cleburne, Rio Vista, Blum, Glen Rose etc.

Hey King_Fisher. It's been a long time since I've posted on the bank fishing forum. Here's a couple of spots I've found here in or near Katy, Texas if you want to add them to the map: John Paul Landing Park 24202 West Rd, Cypress, TX 77433(Very large ponds open to the public and stocked with catfish and other native Texas fish. Canoeing/Kayaking is prohibited though . A few piers and fishing cleaning stations available but very open bank access)Brazos River Bridge by Simonton, Texas 1000-1178 Farm to Market 1093 Wallis, TX 77485 29.671940, -96.021074Catfish & Gars. Water is always muddy. You need to park at the designated parking spot near the bridge closest to Simonton. Expect to do some walking and Mud Boots is highly recommended. Watch your step, I've seen a few copperheads & water moccasins.

Yes, it has been a long time! I haven't done a very good job of maintaining the map. Have been dealing with some health issues the past couple of years and just haven't been able to do much.
These look like some great bank spots, and I don't get enough spots from down around Katy. Great descriptions too! I'll get these posted.
Thanks for the spots - good to see you on here!

King Fisher, I am having the same trouble as Yak Hack. I am hitting the link in your first post and getting Google maps but without the pins. I had done 4his a couple of months ago and got them all. Not sure what is happening.

Hmm, try clearing the cache in your browser and then hitting the site again. I'm not having any issues from my browser (Firefox).
