I just bought a used 2017 Motorguide M5 with built in transducer. I ran it a trip or two using the same external mounted transducer I used on the old trolling motor. I decided to use the external transducer on my pond boat, so I removed it and hooked the built in ducer to my Elite 7. 2D sonar is great, but DI screen goes blank when I hit the power switch for the Motorguide. When the trolling motor is not running, I get a good screen on DI. Any ideas???
