Finally got all our stuff needed to make and paint our own jigheads. For lead i used some egg weights that we had made from wheel weights a few years ago i did the pouring and yesenia lined up the hooks in the molds. It made it so much faster to do. These are our first competed jigs She did all the painting and i clamped all the jigheads in the forceps.we have 5 of them so we had a mini conveyer belt going.

Looks like ya'll have a first class operation going on . I like the picture of the Crappie on the wall behind the smelting pot always nice to keep your eye on the prize.

Some good advice given to me, keep a metal bowl handy in case of a run away. Only needs to be large enough to hold the volume of your pot... And if you store lead in your pot keep it under the spout if you have to leave the bench during warm up.
