I have the next two days open to fish and now this North wind hits. Is it worth going out on the lake or should I scrap it and work on honey do's around the house?

I got geared up yesterday to go fishing this morning but . . . it is blowing 10, gusting to 20, temp is 41 and wind chill is 35.

I am saying stay home today.

You might consider what the barometric pressure is doing ! Huge spikes directly affect the bite. A stabilized pressure , regardless of wind direction and speed can produce fish. This time of year follow river channel if present and the creek beds and or flats close to the channel. Start mid lake and scout north . Wind blown points can produce a lot of fish if drifted properly. Don't know you electronics on board, fish bait and the Pelagic fish will be close, thump and catch.
