From wheel weights? Is it soft lead? My mold says to use soft lead. confused

Im pretty sure WW are soft lead. I remember after we did several hundred pounds of WW into ingots, I could mark it with my thumbnail. Thats the redneck test. Your concern is how clean/how many times it was fluxed. WWs are dirty. We fluxed each batch several times.

Gar, it will work just fine...you will need to melt Id down, remove all the non lead parts and cool it off, before dropping into your jig lead vat...

All that stuff is out. He said ingots. Those steel wheel clamps are easy, they float on molten lead. Theres just so much dirt to flux out of the molten lead.
