The wife was telling me about the body of a man that was pulled out of the water near the Tx City Dike. I haven't heard of any missing fisherman lately so I contacted Capt. Bill Kent that writes the fishing column called the '' Reel Report" for the Galveston Daily News and he said a fisherman had been missing for several days and was found near Swan Lake which is near the Galv. Causeway between Virginia Point and the Dike. No name given,no age. Sad......May he RIP

Sorry to hear this.. so sad. He was fishing alone, it didn't say if he was wading or anything or any details.

i read somewhere that he got out of the boat and was wading. they found the boat anchored. don't know how much truth is in this though.
