Thought at first when the big mutiny happened they might be in trouble . After watching the first one and now the second . The new guys will carry the torch and in a couple of years we will have forgot about the the self proclaimed choosen ones.
All but KVD .

I've watched both twice now and BASS still puts on the best show for my money. Something about catching BTB 9 pounders and a come from behind for 'ol man Clunn is flat good TV. The new kids on the block are holding there own too. I'll still watch both cause I like fishing but BASS has nothing to worry about. They're gonna be just fine.

BASS will be stronger than ever. I even bet some of the MLF guys will get tired of the "day on, day off" format. I would think you would loose your momentum while watching another angler hammer your fish you found. IMO

BASS had 448 entries in the Open at Harris Chain. All fishing for their own money. BASS will be just fine.

FLW was great on Rayburn because it was a lake Im familiar with in strange conditions. The first MLF was great, coverage when time was running out was awesome. I have to admit, Bassmaster on Toho was really good. The crew and production is the best of the 3. Clunn winning and the big fish catches made it must watch. I flipped back and forth today between the two. I still really enjoy the personalities on MLF. Its just like any other sport where its much more interesting when you know your watching the worlds best. I dont ageee that BASS made them and they can be easily replaced. The best guys are going to make a name for themselves in whatever venue they end up. There were much longer periods without action on the BASS coverage. Lanier just cant compare to the St. Johns. MLF is set up to keep you watching fish catches. It is much easier to get my wife or my son to watch MLF than BASS. Its set up more to appeal to the masses. I think there is room for all 3 to work at least for awhile. And tournament formats are always changing. There was a time when there were 15 bass limits in tournaments.

The anglers involved did what they thought was best for themselves..Also alot of new faces all the way around..BASS no question has the best presentation..That is kinda what bugs me about the FLW..Their fishing is good but their analyst are kind of eh!

I agree. In the end, this might be the best thing for BASS. The mass exodus of veteran anglers provided an opportunity for a brand new group of quality anglers to compete at the highest level. I enjoy both formats. MLF is appealing because it is the type of fishing that most weekend anglers relate to - catch as many as you can and hope for a big one. BASS will continue with the tried and true traditional tournament format that so many of us like. Even when fun fishing, we always keep tabs of our best 5 because thats how the very best measure their success.

I think MLF will have to modify their format. Seems like it might be a day too long? And I dont know that there is enough sponsorship or television revenue to support the purses without entry fees. It will be interesting to see if that is sustainable.

One thing is certain. These live streaming events during the work week are impacting my productivity on the job. 😂

The increased competition has upped everyones production/presentation
Everyone, for now, wins
As long as the economy keeps ticking, theres enough support for three major tours
