....do you remember this one? Had to use different chennell, and tail material, but it is purdy close. Now the rest of the story. We had a jig swap last year, and Mittens sent me an extra. I don't know how many fish I caught in the reed beds with it, but the tail was down to a nub. The paint was still good, so I thought I would recycle it. Not sure what you use for paint, but it is some TOUGH stuff...

Thank You!! Yea that paint job still looks good. How hard did the chenille come off?? I thinking it was a lot of work to recycle that one. You tied a good lookin jig. Mine will get lost by one of out toothy critters b4 it ever get worn down. I've lost 4 jigs on 4 casts when them darn nothern pike are prowlen around the weeds. Tap set hook,NOTHIN, no jig no fish, retie, cast, TAP, set hook,Nothin no jig no fish and on it goes on till you go to different spot and then no taps from nothin, but I still have my jig. Take Care Mittens

I know right, one lake I fish they spawn in the weeds so I tyed it on my long pole. Not much chance of loosing it there, so I left it on for several days. I guess they hit it so well, because they could see it in the murk water. I know I have some of the other body material packed somewhere from the move, but they should be able to see the volcano just as well... Thanks for the comment.
