In the pic above, i moved the bunk over to the side with the boat jacked up off the trailer also the crack is about 5 inches behind that support for the bunks. I have two identical cracks in the hull of my tracker. both are directly underneath the bunk in about the middle of them. there is a crack on each side of the boat where the bunks rest on the hull. Has anyone had success in getting cracks welded in this type of boat before? I plan on taking the boat to mcgills in lewisville for the repair work....

Had a tracker and spars come unwelded . Huge crack lucky to not sink. This is common on trackers. I got mine welded by Scott Cox east of Boyd Texas. he fixed it a lot better than new which was not very good. Johnny

Coachzee,
I had a 2007 190Tx and it loved to crack. After the first weld done by BPS at the three year mark it took another 3 years to crack again( mainly around the bow where the stringers run). After many emails and a lot of BS from the factory regional manager I had to get it welded myself. The aluminum was so thin they had to weld patches on it. The welder told me it's going to keep cracking just a matter of time. Sure enough it did I had 13 cracks this last time most were only an inch or less but I did have 2 that were 5 inches long, one on each side. I got the 13 patched and sold the boat. Funny thing is BPS nor tracker dealer would take it as a trade in. Here in Houston I paid 25 dollars for each weld repair.

Wow, Im guessing the bunk support is bowed right there? Or have you been able to figure out what caused it?

***update*** Well my hull cracks are fixed and done right! Took a while to finally get it done but life gets in the way, new baby on board, work, kids, wife, etc.... u guys know the drill. Tracey from bass pro in garland, Sandy and Deeana from corporate, and the welders themselves deserve a big hand! I tried McGills in Lewisville, they did a good job, but it was just a band aid attempt to fix it just from the outside of the hull. The tig welds didnt even last the trip home before the boat re cracked right in the middle of the welds. So the ladies mentioned above helped me out. Even though my boat warranty was out of date, Sandy offered to fix the hull out of good will. How great of costumer service is that! So I got my boat to the factory in Missouri this Sunday, I expected a 4-8 week window of being without my boat.....I got a call yesterday, Tuesday, that my boat was repaired and ready for pick up!!!!! All I can say is thank you bass pro and tracker!!! Awesome customer service on both ends. If you are thinking about a tracker.....pull the trigger....they will help you years down the road however you need it.
