Wow. Just read this. I watched and studied JD. Tried to do it exactly like he did. Couldn't. JD was just in a fishing class by himself, head and shoulders above the rest. Long string of boats tied to the 147 bridge, lines in the water, few catching anything. Along comes JD slowly and courteously trolling piling to piling past these boats, slowly working that white Little Fishie among them, pulling them in, one after another! Things will not be the same under that bridge without him. The torch is passed. To who ever it is, you are not worthy.
When I read "Crappie Legend" in the title to this thread I knew without looking that it was JD. Couldn't have been talking about anyone else. Lakeview Marina will not be the same without him there. Thank you JD for enriching my life.
