Well about 5 or 6 years ago I wanted something light to put above a bottom jig so I tried these and the crappie loved this little simple jig. This jig has some Peacock Swords and the body is Danville FL Wool and thread. Body materials are the same material used in the Crappie Candy Fly and since I have some I may as well use it, lol! Anyway just another idea of a simple jig to tie and keep in mind fish love Peacock even thought it's not tuff material.

Thank you guys!

That is a 1/32 and #6 Sickle, but could be smaller head too, like a 1/48 or even a 1/64 would be good and you can always use a #8 Sickle or a regular bend hook.

Those are amazing!

On average, your heart beats 100,000 times a day. One day, one of those heartbeats will be your last. Then what?

The answer is found in Jesus Christ who said "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10

Thank you Dan_n_Texas!

The FL Wool is very bright stuff, looks good and easy to work with.

I wouldn't even know where to start in regards to tying jigs. But, I've always thought that Peacock swords would make a great jig. Well, your tie just proves it. Great work.
