Lake Fork Report February 6 2019

As of this post the water Level on Lake Fork is currently 402.78. We are only one week into February and we�ve seen some good fish and numbers on Lake Fork. With another cold front moving in, I expect the bite to slow down some but will remain shallow locating the warmest water possible near spawning areas. These last three warm days I found a group of fish that made a big push up shallow. I do not think they are going to move on beds anytime soon but they are up there sunning. We typically begin sight fishing in late Feb and early March. We�ll see what the weather brings and I�ll do my best to keep y'all posted. Here are my notes from the last week. I hope the information helps and if you are looking to get out in February I would love to have you.

Janurary 31st A major GRIND today on Lake Fork. Water temp on my graph never broke 47.5 - We managed 4 fish and still had a blast (Jerkbait)




Februrary 2nd Scouting 5 feet - creek channel - 50.8 temp -Jig



February 4th - Spent the morning on main lake. - temp 48-49 - did not weigh big fish I estimate between 8- 9 pounds - Jerkbait.(Rick Clunn). Afternoon we ran up shallow to hit some staging areas.- surface temp 52-54. T-Rig 1/8 oz -#3 hook (Senko) & a Chatterbait. .




February 5th - Tommy and Brian Dunavan. - 41 fish today - Surface Temp 60 degrees. Owner Flashy Underspin with a skinny dipper/little dipper (white trash) 1/8 oz - 1 to 4 feet - Drains and spawning flats.




February 6th - Water temp 61.7 - 17 this morning with Bo. Owner Flashy Underspin, T-Rig & Chatterbait[ 3/8 oz
