Is there a free public ramp on Ray Hubbard? Whats a good ramp to use?

66 boat ramp in Rockwall is great. They just re did the whole thing this year and its free

There is also one on Zion Road just north of Bass Pro Shops off i30. It's not as nice (no dock) but it's closer to the main lake and may be better to launch from depending on wind direction and where you are going.

66 Boat ramp in Rockwall, John Paul Jones in Garland, ramp on right as you enter new Bayview (formerly Robertson Park), no dock , Heath ramp.
Prepare for the future-it will be here tomorrow.

There is the public boat ramp on the south side of Dalrock..Its exposed to the south wind, i havent put in there in along time. So cant speak to safety..The ramp @zion Chaha is exposed to the north wind, and alot of timber between the ramp and main lake..High water or full pool its not much of a danger, unless floating logs..Heath ramp and rockwall are im sad to say the best public ramps on Hubbard. THE City of Rowlett got both the north dalrock ramp, and the south Dalrock ramp which were both public in a sale at what now looks like a luxury apt complex, and maybe commercial buildings,..South side is now part of Bayview marina..South west side of Dalrock is the public boat ramp that opens into the south wind..

Are all either private or pay per launch..Prices vary..
