This is brush pile season - not crappie catching on the lake. Helped build three nice piles yesterday, and a few hrs of hard work tried fishing for crappie for an hour; NOT one bite! The Office is a little slow, but better than the lake! Others were catching yesterday when we left to build the piles. Good to know about the Office. With the warmer weather and going on nights late this week, had thought about trying Tuesday or Wednesday morning before the cold front arrives late this week. Any color or jig type work best? I don't get out there much and it's a 45 minute+ drive for me, so any help on color and/or depth would be appreciated. If not, no biggie, I'll just work the column and try to find em'.

I agree. I've been spending my time building mega piles for this summer. the crappie bite is very inconsistent right now. The white bass are much better and keeping me entertained.

Thanks for the input. I'm going to try "The Office" this morning to see if they are in the slips. I will try the bridge again next week if it does not rain much. Pardon my ignorance, but what is "The Office?"

I caught a limit this morning fishing from the bank in 2'-3' water along with a 7# & a 5# bass.
