Exactly and it's completely possible that someone throwing stones here is gaining a reputation as one of the biggest bent pole seekers in dfw.

Then there are those that dont use the Binos on the water from best I can tell, they seek to friend you on social media so they can become your so called buddy. This typically happens after you whoop
everyones Arse on a lake where most cant scratch out 13 lbs.

As for being a good Christian, I go to church when I can. I dont think that matters to the fish as much as it does the $&@*% potlickers.

I say good day sir!

I deal with a lot of folks who mistake my passion for aggression. I think some people hold themselves to higher standards and push themselves to try to be a GOAT <-- while other are okay with just being OKAY the same for entrepreneurs vs. workers... It took me a long time to realize that some just want a 9-5 job with a steady paycheck and their family time (different strokes for different folks) but I guarantee the passion is there win lose or draw and if that's the case then it okay by me. The guy is an animal when he is on top and on bottom - so this is him #nofilter

This Ike thread is getting deep, metaphorically as well as the poopoo version.

Lets all go fishing and cuss out loud.

It's the lack of class and immaturity they he puts out as an example that I don't care for. I have rode with him. When it's going good he's ok. When it's not it's like he is a spoiled teenager.

To each his own. If I had kids I would much rather they watch someone like Jordan Lee has a example on how to conduct yourself.

The guy's an idiot, who on here would want their kid's to be around Ike when he goes crazy with one of his cussing rant's. I don't buy anything this guy is associated with.

I'm not a big Iaconelli fan but I am a little confused why he gets so much hate for being a bad role model and being a bad influence. He clearly has trouble managing his emotions and if you read his book it will give you a better understanding why. He does a lot to help kids get involved in fishing. Many of you probably don't listen to his podcast because of all the profanity that might offend you but he plugs his charity all the time on it and it's a pretty cool foundation that aims at getting kids involved in fishing.

Im not saying its acceptable or okay but kids hear much worse than what Ike said on the school bus in first grade. Kids are allowed to curse in school and they dont even get in trouble. I get that some people dont like what he said but the whole kids and hearing a curse word is a joke. If kids go to school, they hear it all by first grade.

Whats even more troubling is its acceptable to say GD on TV but then they bleep out other curse words. Just watched a show where this was happening. Lots of professional athletes curse, not saying its right, its just a fact.

I know quite a few of you fellows and I respect your opinions and you are absolutely entitled to them. However, I just have to say that Im disappointed in some of your responses. I guess sometimes I expect too much. However, expecting a professional to behave in a professional manner should not be too much to ask. As some of you know I have a couple of young men that are virtually always with me. We try to do as much as we can together. We always fish together and when we cant fish, we like to watch fishing shows together. I do my best to raise my kids to be respectful and to have good manners, morals and ethics. However, I certainly dont coddle them and some would say that Im too strict and that I expect too much from them at times. I do not pretend to be as pure as the wind driven snow, as Im certainly not. I have absolutely no right to cast the first stone. So I will not. But allow me to pose a few questions. How long do you think JT Kenny, Marty Stone and the other commentators would have their jobs if they started flinging f-bombs on air? Would you want to sit down with your whole family and watch the show? Do you think if they continue to allow the repeated explicit language it will affect their viewership numbers, and if so why? Im not pleased with the moral decline thats happening in our twisted world and would just like to enjoy watching these MLF events without having to be on point with the mute button. I have lots and lots of friends and love them all. I have a few friends that cuss like sailors, but out of respect they do not get explicit around my wife or kids. Thats what you call respect! Is that too much to ask for. I think not.

simple matter of class and manners. Glad Tom Landry didn't feel the need to show his [censored] everytime the Cowboys lost. Then again just the age we live in now.

Well said. Imagine a fishing tour with 50 Ikes. We can all win with class, it's how we lose that matters. He's a spoiled child.
