Has anyone ever heard of this? It is near Waco and people around here say it is good crappie fishing but can't ever explain where it is. Does anyone know if I could launch a kayak near it? What lures or baits are good for this area?
Yes, sir Eichelberg crossing is way up on the north Bosque. You access it from Baylor camp road. You should be able to launch a kayak since you have access by Corp land on all sides. The whites should be moving up thee in a matter of weeks,
the bridge collapsed a few years back. folks used to fish off of it. spawning fish will soon start making thier way towards that area if not already . lots of folks go back there, so lock your truck up good and dont leave anything lying around that can grow legs and walk off. its a good chance u will see people keeping undersized crappie back there, call the gamewarden and report them.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !
theres a nice little slew to the right of twin bridges park that can be good for a yak during spawn too. great protected area. lots of good places if you look around. near lacy point theres a slew where an old bridge used cross. it opens into a pond,,, good area too.
