I like him. Most of those guys are boring as hell. If they all acted like Klein and Kelly Jordan I would rather watch underwater basket weaving .

He is a disgrace to fishing, I wouldn't get in the boat with him and cannot believe people follow him around just to hear him yell every time he catches a fish or something doesn't go his way.

There are lots of people with big egos, passionate, extroverts, etc but he is just a big jerk who is full of himself, IMHO.

never cared for Ike

Ike is a yankee JackHole!!!! I can't stand him, he's a big cry baby! He talked [censored] about the small crowd that came out to watch the "weigh in" in Lufkin a couple of years ago during the Texas Fest. and then when MLF was taped on Lake Nacogdoches, he threw a rod in as if he were mad, when paused you could see that the rod had no reel, and I believe had a rod cushion on it so it would float... Nothing but someone trying to get attention if you ask me... I broke a Abu rod that was under warranty, they offered me an Ike rod as a possible replacement, I laughed at them and said I would NEVER own anything that had his name on it... His antics are for nothing other than attention due to his little man syndrome!

I recently saw some new reels from ABU Garcia and was checking them out then realized they were Ike models, didn't look any further and silly purple color anyway.

I heard ish drop a couple f bombs, it�s fishing for big $$, you�re going to have it happen.

Best part was when he said I guess I am not a googan lol

I used to follow the BASS tour religiously, and Ike bothered me then. My wife, as a gag, bought me Ike's book "Fishing on the Edge". I read it. The book is an autobiography that covers from early childhood on. No father in the house, and a different up bringing than most of us. I found it interesting as an ex teacher and having taken many child psychology courses, a lot of his behavior suddenly made sense. That said, still not an Ike fan and as a man, I wouldn't act like that.

Oh goodness, a grown adult with a great deal of pride and experience in his craft cursed while he was struggling in high level competition knowing full well how many people were watching him fail.

Just because some of us are Christians who believe in a higher standard of how we speak certainly doesn�t make us snowflakes. Personally, definitely not part of the everyone gets a trophy crowd. The point is, there are standards that should be held to those who are in high profile positions. You will never lose viewership by not cussing, but you most certainly will lose viewers by doing it.
