So some of y’all are implying that a bass will strike a jerkbait that costs less than $25.00? Interesting.

No picture yet, but I know I will get close to the mark on a Rouge at Rayburn this month. I think last two years i have caught 200+ fish in Feb and March on the Rouge. Look at the area, look at the sky, choose the right Rouge, and catch fish,,,if you cast more than 10 times with out a bite you need to switch color or depth. They always hit this bait! And yes they may hit other baits better, but they always bite a Rogue this time of the year Water 55 to 65. PM me with questions but this is the number one search bait for me

Id like to submit this as evidence that the Jerkbait is possibly as real as bigfoot.

The first fish I caught on a jerkbait was a 4-5 lber last spring at Nacogdoches on silver black back rapala something. I decided to TIE ONE ON after catching a few fish on a trap suspended over grass. It was the biggest fish caught of the day. I switched back and forth from jerkbait to trap. The jerkbait got less bites but better quality fish. I'm a believer now.
