I don't mind an F-bomb every now and then but every other word and it gets old. We have to remind a couple of folks in our bass club to mind there manners every now and then. I'm talking about, in front of the young folks, in the restaurant during our monthly meetings, or in front of resort owners and their guest during weigh-ins. Some people turn the other way and some don't and they bring it to my attention. Is it too much to ask for a little respect? Maybe for a few. About Ike, thats his work place and his sponsors may have something to say about it. Not all of us can drop F-bombs at work and get away with it, maybe he can. I never cared for Ike but to each his own.

He's too old to be throwing Hissy Fits. A child would be reprimanded.

He does it because he has been allowed to and I'm sure he will be continue to be allowed to. I can think of multiple professions where professionalism is demanded but pro fishing obviously isn't one of them.

its amazing of the things some sponsors say is good publicity. in the real world if you acted like that an was caught on tape most folks would be looking for a new job just not as good as the one they had.

Many comments hear do not mention the fact Ike berated a couple of high school kids because Ike thought they were too close. Uncalled for IMHO. And for those who think it's cute or permissible to drop bombs in private, okay, but as a role model for our youth. Sorry to have to disagree.
Would you do that in front of your wife or daughter. How about in front of your mother? If the answer is yes then you aren't very wise. A man doesn't need to have diarrhea of the mouth to get attention. That's for insecure boys or immature men.

I you chose to curse in private , or because you smashed your thumb with a hammer , not a problem . If you chose to curse on National TV because your Bass fishing's biggest baby --not cool . And if your berating High School kids because you think they are too close --WOW . Ike is bad for the sport and there are so many others that can take his spot ---Shame on MLF for promoting this fool.

Some of the antics, right or wrong draw attention and marketability. The attention he draws, bad language aside attracts eyes, good or bad. There is a reason he is probably a top 5 in income angler off the water.

You wouldnt make it long in the medical field if a few dirty words offend you. No big deal to me. Maybe more high school kids need to know what ethics are! Seems there�s always posts on here about it! I can understand his frustration. Real world is what it is. Watch the edited version if it�s too harsh for your ears or morals.
