I have a carbon 12 on dash, 2 gen3 9�s on bow. Tried to update Carbon to 18.3 and installed 2n1 active image transducer hoping to get latest technology, at least for the units I have. Problem is when 18.3 is installed I can�t get Carbon to power up unless I do a hard boot. Which loses everything. Once it�s booted it will work fine until I power on 9�s. Then it goes back to shutting and on repeatedly. It gets to the warning acceptance screen, says �loading charts� at bottom and the shuts down and restarts repeatedly. I have to kill all power to shut it down and then hard boot again. I think it�s something in the charts but not for sure. In 18.3 version after hard boot it works fine, but once I power 9�s up it starts it�s sh*t again. Lowrance didn�t have anything when I called them except got it running with a hard boot. Not sure what�s causing it. Hoping someone else experienced this and can tell me what to do to fix it.

I remove the chart card, tried downloading again on a new card. Both 9�s are updated to 18.2. When I download 18.2 back on the Carbon the whole system works fine. After downloading 18.3 I have to hard boot for it to power up, but then works fine... until I turn the gen3�s on... then it goes crazy again.

Try and degrade both 9's to software 7.0. Had a friend with a similar and that was his only fix.
