I'm planning on fishing the BassCat National Owner tournament the end of April. Never even seen the lake. I'm going to try and get up there at least once before the tournament. Any TFF'ers have any advice? Assume clear water and I'm pretty sure they large and smallmouth bass.

Best advice I can give you is dont go. It has clear and dirty water. Average winning sack is 15-17 lbs. its a stripper lake I live close by and never go. I drive to grand instead.

There will probably be fish on beds, so if you like to sight fish you can do that. A shaky head will catch fish there when nothing else will.

I'm fishing that event too, you can look at FLW results for the last few years to get an idea what worked for the top ten. It should also fish like Norfork and Bull Shoals. But more little fish than Norfork.
