Caught a bunch of white bass this morning. Zero hybrids. Doesnt mean theyre not there but on other lakes I typically catch quite a few stripers and hybrids mixed in with big white bass.

Thanks. I will definitely be checking soon. I should have gone there. Couldn't get a striper or sandbass to bite all day on granbury. Easy to find though.

Are the striper on the north or south end of Granbury? Thinking of trying tomorrow. Went to cleburne yesterday and managed a limit worth of sandbass but didnt catch any hybrids.

As of last fall, the hybrids were doing well. I didn't tag any legal fish, but on my guide trips we would catch several 14-16" fish. I assume most of them will be legal this season.

I found them on both at granbury. If I went back I would launch by the dam. They just weren't biting, but a lot can change in a week. Let me know how you do.

Laner, when you say last fall do you mean fall 2018? I thought they were put in around 3 years ago 2016, so I thought they would be legal by now. I could be wrong.

Any recommendations on the Cleburne sand bass? Thinking on trying it tomorrow.. It's been a long time since I fished the lake, and was far from a PCL expert, but common knowledge then was to go to the dam when the aerator is on. You could find them close to there either way at times. They might already be more to the north end of the lake. Between Robinson Branch and the bridge. Near Robinson Branch was a good place to troll and/or mark baitfish/fish. I mainly fished it during the warmer months with a buddy that lived there though. I don't know how good these spots are currently.
