I wish I could have fished today instead of my partner fishing solo. The fishing is picking up out there.

That lake is a joke. Congrats to the two teams that caught them. It still blows my mind why people pay 30 dollars to fish there.

I wish I could have fished today instead of my partner fishing solo. The fishing is picking up out there. If by picking up you mean 240 people fishing and big fish ends up being a 5 pounder then ya got me lol

Getting 20-50 bites a day is picking back up. Id gladly pay $30 to get a lot of bites, fish offshore & practice new techniques. When the water is in the 40s on all the local lakes you are lucky to get 5 bites a day. Squaw will never be what it once was. If 200 boats are paying $30 to launch every weekend then that means Im not the only person who enjoys going out there.

But if catching a bunch of 2 pounders makes you happy then go get em tiger! Its all yours! We had 3, 4lbs or better out there yesterday(4.75 being the biggest). All were on spinning rods & 8lbs line. Those werent giant but were fun. Ill gladly go get em!!

It was tough for us today. Fished offshore until about noon and decided to go beat the bank to try and scratch out a limit. Worst day Ive had out there this year. We had a good time just wasnt our day.
