I am searching for a way to test run a Mercury Tempest Plus 24p and a Mercury Fury 23p. I have been checking the couple of prop shops near me but they have not had either of these to test run. If you know of a way to make this happen, I would really appreciate it. I am willing to put up a deposit an/or pay a rental fee. It has to be cheaper than buying another prop that doesn't turn out to meet my needs.

Thanks!

Check with your local boat dealers. I know mine has a zillion used props and they'll let folks test them.

I've been doing that. Seems like they have everything but what I am looking for.

T Bird what boat dealer do you use? I'm looking into getting a new prop and want to test before I buy.

Check out rothwell marine. They have a trade in program. It might cost you a little in shipping or something but you can buy a prop and trade it in if you dont like it

You can contact Mercury and they will let you know who in your area has the demo prop program?

This. Also, he might work with you without going on the boat as well. If you're calling around make sure to call them!
