Going to be pretty difficult for DeFoe to win angler of the year on a trail he doesn't even fish.

Fouz I don't think veterans from FLW can win ROY anymore? I think you have to be new to the top tours to win it. They made that change after Brett Hite won ROY if I'm remembering that right.

He moved  I guess that explains reading this (question/comment from fans) of pros who moved from Elite roster via Bassmaster.com.. Q: What happened to VamDam & Evers and those guys? A: 80 of the top pros moved to the dinkfest known as the BPT

Ok, then I'll go with one of the Johnston brothers. One of them might win AOY but they don't qualify for ROY either, if you've won over a certain $$$ at the tour level your no longer considered a rookie anymore, I think they call it the Brent Ehrler rule
