Anyone using the oxygenator in their livewell? Is it worth it?

Without someone scientifically testing the oxygen concentration in the water all opinions will be conjecture. I have one and when it is turned on I can clearly see oxygen(air?) rising up to the top and being released into the atmosphere. Does the water then have a higher oxygen content? My unscientific conjecture is no. confused

TPWD did the test. They didnt really do anything and if your in brackish or any salt water it will kill your fish

There was a study done. Can't remember the media thread where I read it. Their conclusion was that the aerator did more to increase oxygen levels than that device. It does what they say but there were better methods than the oxygenator. One other thing I read was that V2 system for livewell lids was pretty well liked after testing. It is just 2 round pieces that you cut into the lid and while you are moving it changes the air inside the livewell. It was only somewhere around $50.
