Since the public ramp closed, I wonder if Bass Champs will cancel ? Pretty sure they will trailer, but it would be a mess for 275 to 300 boats to launch at the ramps left open.

Imagine it being moved to the same weekend as the shootout. Chance to win 70k in one weekend.

Crazy to think they may end up having to reschedule their first 2 events on totally opposite ends of the state.

And Texas Team Trail is the next weekend. Don't see how they have it either if levels don't drop a couple feet

Yea. I dont think so either. Unless they can talk them into opening the public ramp, then maybe

Heard that once public is open, still a 10 day delay for asphalt to dry out. It'll be a few weeks then at least

are you hearing that from the Corp? Lady at Champs said they are talking to the corp "every hour" but no decision yet. If the corp already knows it will be closed for ten days then why aren't they communicating it to Champs? Missing some pcs to this puzzle..

Maybe champs is considering having it regardless of public ramp open or not. Maybe they are waiting to see a possibility of corps releasing water between now and then. Guess we will wait and see

Yea. With all that goes on at Rayburn and the numbers it pulls this time of year it would be a tough call to reschedule for the summer. Although numbers could be down based on ramp openings and stuff. Fishing might get pretty weird too if they start really letting it out.

The Corp definitely doesn't care about a bass champs event. Best to reschedule with conditions at hand vs. Counting on their "timely" decision making
