Marlin 336, the best and my favorite. Brought me home a lot of venison. Still my preference for regular gun season where rifles allowed. Bought it myself with paper route savings when I was 14. Sure was a different time back then.
Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.

The Marlin has to be your choice if you want a scope mounted. I see. None of the rest have the mount rail? Top eject ahhhhhhhh..... thanks!

I can remember my great grandfather having a Winchester 1894 with a side-mounted scope to deal with the top eject. I don't think I've seen another one since.

Top eject I believe that only applies to the pre 64 models if I'm not mistakenNope, the Model 94 AE (Angle Eject) was introduced in 1984, and the Ranger was introduced in 1986. All Model 94 Rangers were angle eject

Henry is side eject too
The new Marlins arent like the old ones since The Freedom Group bought them out.
They produce [censored]...Remington and Marlin both arent what they were since
The old Marlins are way better than the new ones
