Been watching MLF, and they keep on mentioning hydrowaves. Do they really make a difference, or are they just selling for commission? Seems like a gemmick to me but what do I know.

I've had one for 4 months now and have not figured out a setting that improves my catch rate. It may be that they work when you understand the right volume and patterns for the conditions you are fishing. I have yet to figure that out.

Just seems far fetched of an idea, then again Livingstons have proven they work for me at least.

One came on my boat, used it for about 2 months for bass, sandies, stripers and crappie. Catch rate went down 75%. Sold it for $75. One dollar for every %. Things are better now cause I stopped wasting time fooling with the dam thang. Beating the boat with a dam boat paddle works just as well.

I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.

They do work for sure but you do need shad in the area turn it on and those shad will go crazy start jumping out of the water. Thats when the bass go crazy also but there has to be bait there believe me it works.

First, I don't disagree with everything that's been said. Second, my wife and I go to the Classic & FLW Cup every year. She goes crafting and I do my thing. I like to go to the daily launch. I did notice that more boats than not have them. Back at the Expo I asked several of the guys who didn't qualify and were working their sponsor booths their opinion. While some thought it was just another tool to use, the main consensus was that it masked the trolling motor noise and the pings of the more powerful electronics on board. I did my own experiment off of my boat dock with the small, battery powered unit. I thought if it did work, it would be fun when the grandkids came over and went fishing. It wasn't a good experiment because I sink a lot of brush piles and feed the Bluegill so I really couldn't tell a difference. But the one thing that did happen was when I turned it on, the Cormorants would swim up and peck at the speaker constantly.
