Mr. Happy, you just made my day. You finally agree with me that Dak needs a REAL QB coach rather than a failed 3rd stringer. I am now complete.

Dak has to be more accurate with his passes, not sure if a QB coach can fix that, but Moore does look like a high school kid sitting on the bench talking with Dak.

A quarterback coach can help him change his throwing mechanics. He would be able to see things Dak is doing wrong that the average person can't. He could also give advice about what defenses are doing that someone who never really played at the pro level wouldn't have experience in.

There ya go, mechanics, vision and judgment. The 3 attributes of a good QB. Dak needs all of them. He has the character and size, give him the other 3 and whoa Nellie.

No one else other than someone desperate for a job is going to coach for JJ because he insists on being the general manager at which he is a failure. He may fire him just to make a "change", but the results won't change. I've said it more than once - the fans deserve better. JJ just purchased a 360 million dollar yacht, but his fans are paddling around in cardboard boats.

I won't deny I was/am very critical on him. But I've said several times he needs the people on the sidelines to help him develop. But yeah he has all the intangibles to be the leader. The skills are there, sorta. I keep going back to his rookie year. He had Romo(veteran QB) Wade Wilson (veteran QB and Veteran QB coach) and Mark Sanchez (veteran QB) People tend to forget that Sanchez wasn't too bad himself the first few years. Rex Ryan ruined him. Which is what will happen if they retain Linehan and Moore. Get Dak someone in there to help him. That should be top priority. Hell bring Sanchez back as the QB coach. If they can. He was more in Dak's ear that rookie season than Romo or Wilson. It was mentioned more than once back then how helpful Sanchez was to Dak that season. If he's going to be the future. Get him help now. Stop wasting years.

His job is safe. Garrett is back next year. Division Champions and he made it to the second round of the playoffs. Jerry Jones will keep him. The Cowboys have some major work to do during the off season. I just hope Jerry Jones and his son Steven will let the coaches decide who the players are. Just my two cents.

If Jerry is the GM then he has done pretty well as of late, they have the makings of a pretty good young team. A lot of reporters have reported that Will McClay is the real GM, he just does not have the title, I believe he gets paid really well. It was reported that Jerry lobbied really hard for Garrett to allow David Irving to play in this game, he was put on the inactive list, somebody besides Jerry made this decision.
