Hes managed to catch a limit in each of the last 65 days of competition. Thats impressive. I can think of several of my last 65 tournaments where if I would have just caught a limit things would have turned out much better with points and checks haha.

Just a absolute hammer. 65 Straight limits is impressive.

I've read somewhere that he spends the majority of his practice offshore. If he finds them grouped up or enough to string together, he goes with that. If he doesn't find anything, he beats the bank with the trolling motor on high, hitting as many high percentage places as he can. Running and gunning. I do know that he runs both Hummingbird and Lowrance electronics.

I just noticed the Humminbird/Lowrance combo this morning watching him live. Wonder how that works from a sponsorship level

I don't believe he's sponsored by either. He's said he runs them both so he can have the best mapping for the particular lake he's on

No ultrex is shocking to me. Why not utilize every tool available especially on offshore stuff in the wind. He was having trouble early staying on his spot

He says he just doesn't like change.Kind of "if it's not broke, don't fix it". Arey gave him a hard time about not using it. Hard to argue against it as successful as he is.

No way he's just as efficient not using ultrex. Crazy to watch him try to stay on his spot today

He said he's leaving his spot at around 9 in the morning! He's a stick everywhere he goes!
