Hes managed to catch a limit in each of the last 65 days of competition. Thats impressive. I can think of several of my last 65 tournaments where if I would have just caught a limit things would have turned out much better with points and checks haha.

I've read somewhere that he spends the majority of his practice offshore. If he finds them grouped up or enough to string together, he goes with that. If he doesn't find anything, he beats the bank with the trolling motor on high, hitting as many high percentage places as he can. Running and gunning. I do know that he runs both Hummingbird and Lowrance electronics.

No ultrex is shocking to me. Why not utilize every tool available especially on offshore stuff in the wind. He was having trouble early staying on his spot

He was having trouble early staying on his spot He says he just doesn't like change.Kind of "if it's not broke, don't fix it". Arey gave him a hard time about not using it. Hard to argue against it as successful as he is.
